Get to Know Jane

Jane Troescher, a New Orleans native, holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University. Jane is warm, insightful, and compassionate. She serves couples and those who want to work on their relationships, as well as individual clients. Jane cares deeply about her clients and is focused on helping them meet their goals. She makes sure clients feel heard and supported throughout the healing process, encouraging them to ask questions about therapy and engaging them in every step of the process.

In addition to relationships, Jane has extensive experience working with addiction, alcoholism, chronic pain, anxiety, grief, and sexuality concerns. She is LGBTQ+ affirming and serves on the board of PFLAG New Orleans, reflecting her commitment to inclusion and advocacy. Jane utilizes CBT, DBT, brainspotting, mindfulness, and expressive arts in her work with clients. Her training in brainspotting has helped many clients achieve deeper healing.

Jane works with clients ages 14 and up and especially enjoys working with college students. She is available in person at our Mid-City NOLA office or virtually anywhere in Louisiana.
